Was bored this morning so decided to scratch up on playing with a grid in illustrator, loving black and white at the moment aswell :)

I got the job :)

im so happy, i got the job that i really wanted out of the ones i applied for, a bit nervous about meeting everyone and starting but more excited for the new challenges ahead :) morrisons notice is handed in now so i have a week of relaxing before i start working for SPS im really pleased all the hard work has finally paid off :)

Vainity fair/lady gaga magazine shoot

You may have seen me blog about my photographer friend Catherine Scrivener before, As I have previously made posts about her work, She is currently securing a placement at a top photography agency and asked if I could put together a PDF of her works for them to send over, As im not yet in a design role in employment I jumped at the chance!, She was really pleased with what I did for her and as a treat sent me this months Vanity Fair magazine. This months edition features a collaboration between Jessica Diehl, Nick Knight and Lady gaga, the images in this interview are stunning and I think well definitely worth a blog about!, Thanks Cat.

Blackpool sunset on the beach

Went for a relaxing walk and watched the sunset down at south promenade last night, had my iphone on me which has taken these pictures which have come out pretty good.

Barclys rent a bike London

Fantastic use of ambient media in London, Barclays are sponsoring the new rent a bike scheme, this is great as it utilities the underground logo as a hook for Londons transport system and gives it a new lease of life in Barclays vibrant blue. Good for the environment and a great advertising tool.
